On a poignant day in the heart of Abia State, the remains of Late Chief Michael Ifeanyichukwu Awaranti (Ibaradike-Egwu) found their final resting place. The serene country home in Achara, Uturu Community witnessed a gathering of dignitaries, each paying tribute to a remarkable life as honoured guests of Honorable Ifeanyi Njoko, the Labour Party candidate for House of Assembly 2023, and a son-in-law of the deceased. Among those present was Dr. Onyinye Kay Rufus-Obi, the visionary behind the Dr. Onyinye Kay Rufus-Obi Foundation. Her commitment to uplifting the less privileged and displaced members of society has left an indelible mark.
